Films

Alright then, this time I want to write a few words about kinds of films I like. I love watching films, there are some I've seen like 100 times and I know them by heart, who did what and when and how and why.I love romantic comedies, simply because they are simple and funny, and it's easy to relax watching them. My personal favourite is 'Love Actually', probably because many fabulous actors take part in it, like Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson. Apart from that, I love 'Pirates of the Caribbean', mostly the first part. If Johnny Depp is not enough, let me mention Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. Coming back to Mr Depp, I love him to pieces. 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Edward Scissorhand', 'Finding Neverland'. To me he is the Elvis of the big screen. I also like gangster films and comedies (like 'Snatch' (Jason Statham;*) or 'Ordinary Decent Criminal' - it's well funny, and what I like the most about it is that when you watch it you actually like the main character who is a gangster). Next, 'The Boondock Saints', a film which probably very few of you heard of. I watched it by accident quite a long time ago, and it's been one of my very favourite ones ever since. Have a quick look at the trailer if you like.

  1. "Love, actually" is the best romantic comedy ever! I agree with that,it is also my personal favourite:)I always try to pick my favourite character from that film but they are all so brilliant and funny:)and in my opinion,it's not that simple but it also carries some meaning:)What do you think about "Definitely, maybe"?This film is also made by the guys who created Love Actually:)or "You've got mail"?I know it by heart as well:)

  2. Sorry, I didn't mean it. It's not like it's stupid or something, it's just not as demanding as, for example, 'The Butterfly Effect' (at least in my opinion). I've seen 'You've got mail', but it was aaages ago. I haven't seen 'Definitely, maybe', but seems like a good film, so I'll probably watch it some time in the future.
P.S. And you're soooo right about the characters in 'Love...' ! They're great and it's impossible to choose just one favourite one.
